Custom MiG-21s Series + VPAF 2.0 Repack (by Dariam Cardoso)
Our friend and member Dariam Noel Cardoso created a further update for various VPAF MiG-21s versions, with many improvements and some new skins:
- MiG-21F-13 (Fishbed C)
- MiG-21 PFV (Fishbed D)
- MiG-21 PFM (Fishbed E)
- MiG-21MF (Fishbed J)
- MiG-21bis (Fishbed L/N)
- MiG-21 UM (Mongol B)
Plus, he also created a collection of North Vietnamese airplanes called TRUE VPAF he would like to share with us, with some new planes such as the Shenyang J-4, the Harbin H-5 and the Lisunov Li-2 Chinese and Russian copies. Very well done!

B-52D ‘Nam Update (by DaddyAirplane & Others)
Our Friend and Member Kevin Unruh, along with other modders, made this amazing and historically accurate mod skin for our B-52D Stratofortress.The pack replaces the old “Camo2” livery, as the result of an accurate photograpic and historical researcj made by Kevin.
It also includes the new “Shark Mouth” skin: the original “wrong era” teeth were removed from the texture and added as a decal for the one and only operational serial that had such a feature.
The new Camo2 skin features about 130 real serial numbers with more than 20 authentic NoseArts from the Vietnam War period. Moreover, the updated B-52D version includes many upgrades made in collaboration with various authors:
- jammers by Kjakker
- improved cockpit, new radar skin and avionics by Alexis99
- new fake pilot antenna farm and pylons by spillone104
- edited weapons, effects, sounds, flight model, TGAs, data.ini edits to increase bomb supply and many other goodies by daddyairplanes
This new B-52D and all its features will be included in the next YAP-RW Phase Two release.

Nimitz Class Carrier Pack V2 (by AllenJB42)
This addon pack was made by our member and friend AllenJB42 using YAP’s basic models from the Model Shop, cloned and renamed to give the various ships in the class. The aircrafts skins were also modded, in order to get the appropriate squadrons, deployed on the carriers in the respective time periods.
Ships using the USS Nimitz model have an EA-6B on deck. Use this ship for when your airwing has the classic F-4, F-14, A-6 & A-7 and F/A-18As and Cs. The start date is the year of the first cruise, and the end date is the year of the last cruise before Super Hornets deployed.
Ships using the USS Bush have an EA-6B and F/A-18Es on deck. Use these ships for when your airwing has started to convert to Super Hornets but have not yet received the EA-18G. You might still have F-14Ds or legacy Hornets deployed too. The start date is the year of the first cruise with F/A-18Es, and the end date is the year of the last cruise with EA-6Bs.
Ships using the Washington LOD have only F/A-18Es on deck. Use these ships for when your airwing has EA-18Gs deployed. The start date is the year of the first cruise with Growlers, and the end date is the scheduled decommissioning year, being 50 years after initial commissioning.
The CVN-76 USS Ronald Reagan and CVN-77 USS George HW Bush had their first deployments with Super Hornets, so they are in the mod in their original YAP version.
